Continuous Glucose Monitoring

With the new CGM systems you can now monitor your glucose levels in real time without having to take a blood sample.

A Breakthrough in Diabetes Management

What is it?

A continuous glucose monitoring system consists of a handheld reader and a sensor worn on the back of the upper arm or on the stomach.

How does it work?

The sensor uses a thin, flexible filament inserted just under the skin to measure glucose every minute.

How do you use it?

Use the handheld reader to scan the sensor with a painless,one-second scan to replace fingersticks.*

*Fingersticks are required for treatment decisions when you see Check Blood Glucose symbol, when symptoms do not match system readings, when you suspect readings may be inaccurate or when you experience symptoms that may be due to high or low blood glucose.
